Fantastic hiking areas include:

- Strathcona Provincial Park, BC <guidebook>
- Banff / Canmore, Alberta
- Waterton National Park, Alberta
Of those I haven’t done, top of my list is Long Range Traverse, Gros Morne, Newfoundland.
